Elon Musk Urges Germans to "Fight, Fight, Fight" for Country’s Future in Campaign Rally Address

Tech billionaire Elon Musk, known for his innovative ventures such as Tesla and SpaceX, addressed a campaign rally of Germany’s anti-immigration AfD party on Saturday, showing his support ahead of the country’s election next month. The billionaire entrepreneur told a crowd of thousands in the eastern city of Halle that the AfD is "the best hope for the future of Germany."

Musk’s comments have raised concerns among some leaders, who believe he is interfering in European politics through his social platform X and making potentially divisive statements. Additionally, his public gestures have sparked controversy, including a hand signal that has been compared to the Nazi salute.

During his address, Musk emphasized the importance of self-determination for Germany and Europe, criticizing the European Union authorities and advocating for greater control over the country’s future. He also encouraged the AfD supporters to "fight, fight, fight" for their country’s future.

The AfD party, known for its anti-immigration stance, denial of climate change, and anti-gender politics, is polling at around 20% ahead of the February 23 elections. The mainstream conservative CDU/CSU party leads with around 30%.
