Xavier Worthy meets Taylor Swift after AFC title game win.

NFL Rookie Xavier Worthy Discovers Taylor Swift is Taller Than Him During Chance Encounter at Arrowhead Stadium

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Xavier Worthy recently had an unforgettable encounter with global superstar Taylor Swift, just hours after his team defeated the Buffalo Bills in the AFC Championship game. According to eyewitness accounts, Swift paid a visit to the field inside Arrowhead Stadium, where cameras captured Worthy’s surprise expression as he approached her.

In a moment of pure shock, Worthy remarked, “Oh s—,” as he took in Swift’s stature, clearly taken aback by her taller-than-expected frame. Measuring in at 5’11”, Swift appears to rival Worthy in height when viewed from a side profile, despite the singer often being listed at an inch shorter. However, it’s reasonable to assume Swift’s high-heeled footwear gave her an appearance of added inches.

The unsuspecting Worthy revealed that their encounter marked the first time they had met. “I just met her. It’s the video going viral right now,” he told ABC 30, recalling the awkward yet charming interaction. Swift quickly recognized Worthy due to her boyfriend, NFL tight end Travis Kelce’s, draft night coverage. She greeted Worthy with a query about his impressive rookie season: “Oh you’re the one who got drafted?”

The surprise meeting comes just weeks after Kelce spoke on the supportive influence Swift has been on his sports career. According to Kelce, Swift consistently encourages him to “enjoy playing this game” despite potential doubts surrounding his future in the league. In an interview earlier this month, Kelce cited Swift’s enthusiasm as a factor in his own motivation to pursue his dreams further.
