WWE is driving pop culture, claims pro wrestling legend Paul Heyman.

WWE has been on a hot streak, with a new era introduced under the guidance of Paul “Triple” Levesque, the company’s chief content officer. The company has seen several major changes, including Cody Rhodes becoming the Undisputed WWE champion, Roman Reigns losing his title and dealing with an insurrection within the Bloodline, and a feud between Rhea Ripley and Liv Morgan that resulted in the Women’s World Championship changing hands multiple times.

Additionally, the company has welcomed new faces to its main and development rosters. The women’s division has seen a youth movement, with Tiffany Stratton’s win in the Money in the Bank contract and subsequent cash-in.

WWE has also expanded its reach through partnerships with various brands, including Netflix, Hulu, NBA, NHL, and Cosm. The company has also partnered with TNA Wrestling to showcase talent on each other’s brands.

WWE Hall of Famer Paul Heyman believes the company has transcended pop culture, saying, “We’re no longer a boutique industry. We’re not on the fringe. We’re driving pop culture now, and with the fact that Roman Reigns is the undisputed top box office attraction, the number one star in the entire industry, and his Wiseman, are driving these cultural phenomenon, I would suggest the youth of this world is in very good hands right now.”

Celebrities have also been flocking to WWE events, with appearances from the likes of Matthew McConaughey, Kai Cenat, Gabriel Iglesias, Danielle Fishel, and Quavo. The company is gearing up for its WrestleMania season, which kicks off with the Royal Rumble on Saturday, followed by the Elimination Chamber in March. WrestleMania 41 is set to take place in Las Vegas on April 19 and 20.
