Will Smith Denies Involvement with Sean “Diddy” Combs’ Alleged “Freak Offs” Parties
During an appearance in San Diego on Thursday, Will Smith addressed speculation that he was involved in Sean “Diddy” Combs’ alleged “freak off” parties, which allegedly involved sex workers. Smith took to the stage at the Observatory North Park theater, where he performed his new song “Tantrum,” and used the opportunity to clear up any misconceptions about his supposed ties to Combs.
“I’ve been seeing y’all’s memes and stuff. I’ve seen the memes. Some of the stuff is funny. But I haven’t addressed any of this publicly. But I want to say this very clear: I don’t have s— to do with Puffy, so y’all can stop all the memes. Stop all of that bulls—,” Smith said in a clip obtained by TMZ.
Smith further emphasized that he had no involvement with Combs, stating, “I ain’t been nowhere near that man, ain’t did none of that stupid s—. So, whenever y’all hear it, if somebody say that, it’s a damn lie.”
Combs faces charges of racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking by force, fraud, or coercion, and transportation to engage in prostitution, with a minimum sentence of 15 years behind bars or a maximum sentence of life in prison if found guilty. He allegedly ran a criminal enterprise through his businesses, using firearms, threats of violence, coercion, and verbal, emotional, physical, and sexual abuse to fulfill his sexual desires.
Smith’s denial comes as Combs’ ongoing legal battle continues, with his most recent attempt to be released from jail pending trial denied in November.
