Who Led the Astray: Uncovering the Real Power Brokers Behind Biden’s Rocky First Term

For years, conservatives and some others have raised concerns about President Joe Biden’s cognitive decline. While liberal media and loyal mouthpieces dismissed these claims, recent events are shedding light on a different reality. The New York Times, a paper that often functioned as Biden’s PR firm, revealed that he relied on teleprompters during private fundraisers, giving donors a more scripted appearance.

However, exposing Biden’s vulnerabilities has also revealed a more significant issue: who was running the country? The answer lies in a group of shadowy figures, with at least five individuals exerting significant influence behind the scenes.

1. Former President Barack Obama: Obama’s continuity with the Biden administration’s policies is striking. From the economic and climate boondoggles to the Afghanistan withdrawal, it’s clear that Obama’s agenda was carried out by Biden, who played a supporting role.

2. First Lady Jill Biden: Jill’s role as Joe’s handler, coach, and babysitter is an open secret. She’s often provided counsel, made key decisions, and influenced her husband’s decisions, including his decision to run for president in 2020, despite concerns about his stamina.

3. Chief of Staff Jeff Zients: As a “fixer,” Zients emerged as a powerful figure, quietly shaping the administration’s day-to-day agenda and overseeing key decisions. His influence and control over White House operations make it plausible that he orchestrated key actions, including the halt on liquefied natural gas exports.

4. National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan: As a key figure in shaping policy, Sullivan’s role in orchestrating the US withdrawal from Afghanistan and promoting industrial strategy is notable. His central position within the administration, along with his capabilities, suggests he may have functioned as a de facto leader.

5. A 24-year-old progressive activist: This individual, with a purple hair and a TikTok presence, represents the radical shift in gender and race policies under the Biden administration. Their influence can be seen in policies such as allowing biological males to compete in women’s sports and the abandonment of meritocracy for race- and gender-conscious hiring.

While some may question Vice President Kamala Harris’s role or Hunter Biden’s influence, it’s unlikely they were running the show. It seems that Obama, Jill Biden, Zients, and Sullivan were more instrumental in shaping the Biden administration’s agenda and policies.
