Washington teens charged as adults for gang-linked stabbing of 14-year-old boy.

Two 17-year-olds, Milo Canales and Hayden Lusebrink, have been charged as adults in connection with the gruesome stabbing of a 14-year-old boy in Snohomish County, Washington. The incident occurred on December 16 in Lions Park in Everett, where the victim was allegedly tied to a tree and stabbed at least eight times around his stomach.

According to court documents, the victim was with a girl at the park when the two male suspects grabbed him and forced him to take off his clothes. They then tied him to a tree and stabbed him multiple times, leaving him “disemboweled.” The victim was also pistol-whipped and had the letter “N” carved into his chest, a symbol of the “Norte” or “Norteno” gang.

The suspects allegedly acted out of gang-related motives and a prior altercation with the victim at their school. The victim told investigators that he recognized his assailants as fellow students at his high school.

The victim managed to untie himself and ran to a nearby house for help. He was taken to a hospital and is expected to survive.

Canales and Lusebrink were arrested within 24 hours of the stabbing and have been charged with first-degree assault, first-degree robbery, and first-degree kidnapping. Canales’ bail was set at $1 million, while Lusebrink’s was set at $300,000. He was released on bond.

Canales was also found with the victim’s bloody clothing and had previously been facing felony charges for a robbery in Seattle last month.
