Militant Leader Predicts Putin’s Downfall
The leader of an anti-Putin militant group, Maximilian Andronnikov, also known as Caesar, believes that Russian President Vladimir Putin could be toppled quickly, just like his ally, Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, was. Caesar is the leader of the Freedom of Russia Legion, a group of Russians fighting to overthrow Putin.
Caesar thinks that the Russian army is headed towards a critical failure, like the Syrian army, and that Putin’s regime will be overthrown. He cites the example of Assad, who used chemical weapons against his own people over 200 times and still fell in just 10 days.
Caesar believes that the Russian army is exhausted and lacks motivated infantry, weapons, and ammunition, and that Putin’s attempts to conscript more soldiers will be met with resistance. He notes that Russia has turned to allies like North Korea for troop support.
The militant leader predicts that the Russian army will soon be in a crisis, with poor morale and low wages, which will lead to Putin’s downfall. “Russians are very slow to begin, but are very fast to rise,” Caesar said. “It’s a law, it’s an old Russian proverb.”
Caesar and his group, the Freedom of Russia Legion, are currently fighting against the Russian army in the east of Ukraine. They are known for their skilled mortar squad and ability to conduct sabotage inside Russia. Putin’s regime is afraid of them, according to Caesar, which is why they target them.
Caesar believes that a peace deal between Russia and Ukraine would only be a temporary solution, as Putin would use it to regroup and prepare for another invasion. He thinks that the only way to achieve lasting peace in Europe is to overthrow Putin’s regime.
In the meantime, Caesar and his group will continue to fight against the Russian army, determined to bring about change and restore freedom to Russia. He warns that if Putin were to win, he would conscript battle-hardened Ukrainians and invade other countries, making Ukraine a front line in the defense of Western civilization. He urges Europe and Britain to help Ukraine in any way possible to prevent this outcome.
