Vikings Consider Benching Aaron Jones after Recent Fumble Issues.

Vikings Running Back Needs to Work on His Grip

Dalvin Jones, the starting running back for the Minnesota Vikings, acknowledged that he needs to improve his grip after suffering a turnover in his team’s recent game. Although he lost a fumble in the first quarter, Jones made up for it by scoring the go-ahead touchdown catch, helping the Vikings come from behind for a win.

Jones noted that his mother is the one who gives him the tough love he needs. His father, Alvin Jones Sr., passed away in 2021, and his mother has stepped in to fill the gap. Jones appreciates her honesty, saying that he needs her tough love as it reminds him of the guidance his father used to give him.

A mother knows best, and Jones said that his mom knows exactly when he needs a piece of her mind. Without his father to provide his usual tough love, his mother has taken on that role, and Jones relies on her to keep him in check.
