Video Trump’s former defense secretary responds to Patel’s claims of ‘treasonous’ actions 4:09

[James “Mad Dog” Mattis, the former Secretary of Defense under President Donald Trump, responded to allegations made by Congressman Ralph Norman’s claims that he and other officials were complicit in a “treasonous” plot to undermine the president.

“I was in the Marines for 41 years, and I know what the word ‘betrayal’ means,” Mattis said. “I did not sell out my country or my President for 30 pieces of silver, and I will never do so. I did my duty, and I will always do my duty.”

Mattis emphasized his commitment to the United States and its government, stating, “I will never engage in an act that hurts the United States of America. If the President wants to try to tear me down, that’s up to him, but I will not let him tear me down.”

Trump’s actions were described as “nothing short of surreal” by Mattis, who believes that the President’s behavior has damaged the country’s reputation and ability to effectively lead the world.

Mattis pointed out that the President’s actions may have allowed the United States to continue being the leader of the world, but noted that there is still much to be done. “I believe that the United States will continue to lead the world, but there are still many challenges ahead,”

Please note that the title “James “Mad Dog” Mattis” is not actually part of the original content.
