Tyreek Hill Channels Antonio Brown, Suggests He May Leave Dolphins After Playoff Miss

Miami Dolphins star wide receiver Tyreek Hill channeled Antonio Brown on Monday, hours after suggesting he wanted to leave the team once they missed out on the playoffs during the 2024 season. Hill superimposed his face onto Brown’s body for his new X profile picture, a nod to the former NFL player who infamously left the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ game against the New York Jets three years ago and never returned to the league.

Hill’s comments following the Dolphins’ loss to the Jets raised eyebrows, as he expressed his desire to prioritize his career and family. “I just got to do what’s best for me and my family,” he said. “If that’s here or wherever the case may be, I’m finna open that door for myself. I’m opening the door. I’m out, bro. It was great playing here, but at the end of the day, I gotta do what’s best for my career because I’m too much of a competitor to be just out there.”

The 30-year-old wide receiver, who has 319 catches for 4,468 yards and 26 touchdowns in his time with the Dolphins, will only turn 31 in March. He has proven he can still pack a punch on offense, and the team acquired him in a trade with the Kansas City Chiefs in 2022, elevating them into a playoff contender.

Hill later doubled down on his statement in a separate post on X, saying, “Love fin nation blessing yall opened doors for the Hill family forever, nothing but respect and love.”
