Dolphins’ WR Corps Faces Mixed Fortunes
Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill is expected to play in Sunday’s game against the Cleveland Browns despite battling a wrist injury, according to NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport. However, wide receiver Jaylen Waddle is unlikely to be available due to a knee injury.
Hill has been dealing with the wrist injury, which he has said will require surgery after the season, but has not yet missed a game. He was limited in practice this week but is expected to play. Waddle, on the other hand, has not practiced since injuring his knee in Week 15 and has been upgraded to limited participation but is still unlikely to play.
The Dolphins are facing a slim playoff chance heading into Sunday’s game, currently holding a 10 percent chance of making it in with two games to go. They will need to win to keep their hopes alive, but will likely have to do so without at least one major player. The Dolphins and Browns kick off at 4:05 p.m. ET.
