Two NBA stars on the move in blockbuster trade.

Two NBA Stars Reportedly on the Move

Hours after the Dallas Mavericks traded Luka Doncic to the Los Angeles Lakers, the Sacramento Kings, Chicago Bulls, and San Antonio Spurs were finalizing a deal involving De’Aron Fox and Zach LaVine, according to ESPN.

De’Aaron Fox, who has played for the Kings since the 2017-18 season, has been traded to the Spurs, and Zach LaVine, who has been with the Bulls since the same season, has been sent to the Kings. The Bulls will receive Zach Collins, Tre Jones, Kevin Heurter, and a 2025 draft pick in the deal.

Fox, a two-season removed from his first All-Star appearance, was averaging 25 points, 6.1 assists, and 5 rebounds with the Kings before the trade. LaVine, a two-time All-Star, has been out due to injury but has bounced back and played in 42 games this season, averaging 24 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 4.5 assists per game.

In his new role, Fox will team up with Spurs phenom Victor Wembanyama, while LaVine will join the Kings alongside Domantas Sabonis. The Kings are looking to bounce back after firing head coach Mike Brow and replacing him with Doug Christie, and LaVine’s addition could be a big boost for the team.
