Two Migrant Suspects Charged with Murder of 63-Year-Old Man in Chicago

Two suspects, both in the U.S. illegally, have been charged with the murder of a 63-year-old man whose body was found tied up at his home in Chicago late Sunday. The suspects, Geiderwuin Bello Morales, 21, and 29-year-old Jefferson Ubilla-Delgado, are believed to have met with the victim, George Levin, through a gay dating app.

Levin was found bound with duct tape near his face and mouth in his Norwood Park home, and an autopsy determined that he died of multiple injuries related to assault. The death was ruled a homicide.

Both suspects are being held on charges of murder and robbery of a victim with a handicap or over 60 years-of-age. They are expected to appear in court on Saturday.

It is believed that the suspects crossed into the United States through the Texas border in the summer of 2023. Sources also revealed that Ubilla-Delgado was arrested on Wednesday and Morales was taken into custody on Thursday.

Additionally, the suspects may have been involved in a targeted robbery, with sources indicating that they stole items from Levin during their encounter.

The case comes as the U.S. government has been focusing on immigration enforcement, with recent raids in Chicago resulting in the arrests of convicted murderers, sex offenders, and gang members.
