Tucker Carlson Talks with Russian Foreign Minister

Conservative Commentator Tucker Carlson Returns to Moscow to Speak with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, Warns of Impending Nuclear Conflict with US

Tucker Carlson, a conservative commentator, has returned to Moscow to speak with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, expressing his concerns about an impending nuclear conflict between the United States and Russia. In a video posted on Tuesday, Carlson claimed that the Biden administration’s supply of long-range ATACMS weapons to Ukraine has brought the US closer to nuclear war.

Carlson accused the administration of escalating tensions and lambasted its lack of diplomatic engagement, stating that the US is engaged in “a hot war with Russia, unbeknownst to most Americans.” He also criticized Secretary of State Tony Blinken for cutting off all contact between the US and Russian governments, saying that there is no back channel or conversation between the two governments for more than two years.

Carlson claimed that his efforts to interview Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy were thwarted by the US government, and that most Americans only have access to the news granted to them by mainstream media outlets like NBC News and The New York Times, lacking the Russian perspective.

The interview with Lavrov reportedly took over an hour and touched on US-Russian relations, the return of President-elect Donald Trump to the White House, global geopolitics, and the ongoing war in Ukraine. Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova described the discussion as “wide-ranging,” with an emphasis on the modern history of difficult US-Russia relations.
