President Donald Trump Sat Down for Exclusive Interview with Fox News’ Sean Hannity
President Donald Trump spoke with Fox News host Sean Hannity in an exclusive interview, reflecting on his historic return to the White House after losing to Joe Biden in 2020.
Trump looked back on his decision to return to the White House, saying it proves the “radical left” policies throughout the past four years are “horrible” and “don’t work”. He lamented the Biden administration’s policies on inflation, U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan, and the ongoing Russia-Ukraine and Israel-Hamas wars.
Hannity revealed that after the 2020 election loss, he told Trump that returning to the White House four years later would be “bigger” than winning consecutively, comparing it to Winston Churchill’s return as prime minister following World War II.
Trump Warned FEMA FACES A RECKONING After Biden Admin
Trump Criticized the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) saying it has “not done its job” over the past four years. He claimed that without proper leadership, FEMA gets in the way, and he expressed his intention to stop in North Carolina on Friday to address issues left over from Hurricane Helene.
Trump Gave a Boost to TikTok
Trump praised his campaign’s decision to join TikTok and credited it for his strong youth voter support. However, he emphasized that TikTok must be sold by its Chinese owners and suggested that the U.S. should own half of the platform.
Trump Reaction to Biden Pardons for Officials and Family Members
During the interview, Trump reacted to Biden’s decision to pardon numerous officials and family members, criticizing the fact that Biden did not pardon himself. Trump recalled the option to pardon himself during the end of his first term but declined, claiming he and his administration did nothing wrong.
“I was given the option, They said, sir, would you like to pardon everybody, including yourself? I said, I’m not going to pardon anybody. We didn’t do anything wrong. And we had people that suffered.”
The interview revealed Trump’s current stance on his return to office, his plans for FEMA and TikTok, and his response to Biden’s pardons, giving insight into his thoughts after four years outside of the White House.
