Trump Taps Bill Briggs and Ed Russo for Cabinet Positions

President-elect Trump Announces Latest Cabinet Picks

President-elect Trump announced two new picks for his administration’s top positions. On Friday, he named Bill Briggs as his Deputy Administrator for the U.S. Small Business Administration, saying Briggs will help oversee the organization’s Historic Paycheck Protection Program, which saved many small businesses and millions of jobs.

Trump also announced Ed Russo as his pick for the Environmental Advisory Task Force, an environmental expert who will advise the administration on initiatives to create great jobs and protect natural resources, with a focus on clean air and water, as well as achieving American Energy Dominance, rebuilding the economy, and promoting drilling.

The nominations come as Trump continues to fill out his Cabinet ahead of his January 20 inauguration. The Republican-controlled Senate will soon begin holding hearings for Trump’s nominees.
