Trump Floats Wayne Gretzky for Canada’s Top Job Amid Crisis

President-elect Trump has thrown his support behind Wayne Gretzky, a Canadian hockey legend, as a potential candidate for Canadian Prime Minister on his social media platform Truth Social. Trump stated that he told Gretzky that he would win easily without having to campaign, and joked that the “people of Canada should start a DRAFT WAYNE GRETZKY Movement.” This move comes as Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has faced pressure to step down due to recent controversies. Trump also trolled Trudeau in a separate post, claiming that Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland’s resignation was due to her “totally toxic” behavior, and that she “will not be missed.” Gretzky, known as “The Great One,” was recently spotted at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago residence in Palm Beach, Florida, wearing a “Make America Great Again” cap.
