President-elect Trump Attends Army-Navy Game
President-elect Trump, soon to be 47, attended the 125th edition of the Army-Navy game on Saturday at Northwest Stadium in Landover, Maryland, less than 15 miles from the White House. He was joined in a suite by his running mate, Vice President-elect JD Vance, Speaker of the House Mike Johnson, and Daniel Penny, who was recently acquitted of charges in the death of Jordan Neely.
Trump has been a regular attendee at the Army-Navy game during his presidency, attending six times since 2016 and previously at the West Point game in 2020. He was spotted saluting during the national anthem alongside service members in attendance.
This year’s game marked the first time since 2017 that the winner will have a chance to secure the Commander-In-Chief’s Trophy, with Army and Navy each having clinched spots in bowl games. Army enters the game with an impressive 11-1 record, while Navy has won eight games this season. The game will be the first meeting between the two teams this season and a non-conference game.
