Trump appoints Miran to head Council of Economic Advisers.



Stephen Miran, a former adviser for economic policy at the U.S. Treasury Department, has been tapped by President-elect Donald Trump as the chair of his Council of Economic Advisers, Trump announced on Sunday. The White House Council of Economic Advisers advises the President on economic policy.
