Travis Hunter’s College Career Comes to an End

Travis Hunter’s college career has come to an end, but what a remarkable and unprecedented season it was. Hunter, the 2024 Heisman Trophy winner, played in the Alamo Bowl against BYU, recording four receptions for 106 yards and a touchdown in the loss. Despite the defeat, Hunter’s college career was marked by incredible performances on both offense and defense.

Throughout the season, Hunter played in 1,360 snaps from scrimmage, the vast majority of Colorado’s plays. He was also extremely productive, recording 94 receptions for 1,258 yards and 15 touchdowns, as well as a rushing score. Defensively, he had 31 total tackles, four interceptions, 11 passes defended, and a forced fumble.

In the regular season finale, Hunter dominated on both sides of the ball, recording eight receptions for 125 yards and two touchdowns. He also had an interception and a Heisman pose, cementing his legacy as one of the greatest two-way players in college football history.
