Tom Brady to play key role in selecting Las Vegas’ next quarterback.

The Las Vegas Raiders’ quarterback situation is in flux, with the possibility of starting their third QB of the season, Desmond Ridder, in Monday’s game. This follows offseason acquisition Gardner Minshew and injuries forcing the team to alternate between him and Aidan O’Connell. Despite this, the team’s passing offense has struggled, ranking 16th in yards and tied for 26th in touchdowns and interceptions.

The uncertainty at quarterback position could be a sign that the team is planning to address the position in the 2025 draft, where they are primed to select in the top five. Meanwhile, Tom Brady, the former quarterback, is set to be involved with the team, although the exact nature of his role is unclear.

As the owner, Mark Davis has hired Tom Telesco as general manager and promoted Antonio Pierce to full-time head coach, following Josh McDaniels’ departure. Davis believes that Telesco will eventually oversee the entire football operation, working alongside him to bring the team back to relevance in the coming seasons. Brady’s involvement will likely be a key factor in this process, with Davis stating that he will be part of the infrastructure building in the organization.
