As the Commanders attempted a fourth down conversion with a third-point lead, Brady called attention to the fact that there were 12 Lions players on the field instead of 11, earning his team a free play and extended time to secure a crucial victory. Two plays later, Brian Robinson Jr. found the end zone, propelling the Commanders to a 45-28 win.
As the Fox sports commentator working his first NFC divisional round game, Brady demonstrated his extensive understanding of football by swiftly and effectively alerting his colleagues about the Lions’ infractions.
While Lions coach Dan Campbell cited multiple factors in their loss, Brady’s observance and precise words led to Washington’s breakthrough in scoring and subsequently took the control of the match, contributing significantly to the Washington Commanders’ successful campaign in that match.
