Washington Commanders rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels helped his team advance to the NFC Championship game with a thrilling victory over the Detroit Lions. Daniels had a stellar performance, going 22-of-31 with 299 passing yards and two touchdown passes, while not being sacked in the game. The Commanders also converted 3-of-4 fourth-down attempts.
Daniels’ impressive performance earned praise from none other than Tom Brady, who compared him to Tiger Woods. Brady said that Daniels has the ability to remain poised and confident in high-pressure situations, something that is rare in young players.

Despite being a rookie, Daniels has already led his team to a historic win, and could potentially lead them to their first Super Bowl appearance since 1991. When asked about the possibility of playing in the Super Bowl, Daniels remained focused on the present, saying that he’s just focused on how he can improve day by day.
The Commanders will face off against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday at 3 p.m. ET, and the game can be seen on FOX.
