Chris Borgonzi, Assistant GM of the Kansas City Chiefs, to Take Over Titans Franchise
Chris Borgonzi has been with the Kansas City Chiefs since 2009, rising through the ranks to become assistant general manager in 2021. Prior to his promotion, he served as director of football operations from 2018-2020 and director of player personnel in 2017. Borgonzi has been part of the Chiefs front office that constructed three Super Bowl-winning rosters, including the 2019 season and their last two appearances.
The Chiefs secured the AFC’s top seed in the 2024 season with a 15-2 record and will play their first playoff game Saturday against the Houston Texans. Meanwhile, Borgonzi will prepare to take over the Tennessee Titans franchise, which fired GM Ran Carthon earlier in January after two seasons.
