New York Giants Quarterback Eli Manning, Tight End Antonio Gates, and Wide Receiver Reggie Wayne are among the 15 finalists for the 2025 Pro Football Hall of Fame class, the Hall of Fame announced on Saturday.
Gates, who played for the San Diego/Los Angeles Chargers from 2003 to 2018, is a two-time all-Pro and holds the record for most receiving touchdowns by a tight end in NFL history with 116. Wayne, who played for the Indianapolis Colts from 2001 to 2014, is a six-time Pro Bowler and currently ranks 10th in receptions (1,070) and receiving yards (14,345).
Manning, who played for the New York Giants from 2004 to 2019, is one of five players to make it as a finalist in his first year of eligibility, along with Luke Kuechly, Terrell Suggs, Adam Vinatieri, and Marshal Yanda.
The 15 finalists were selected from a list of 167 nominees and will be voted on by the Hall of Fame selection committee prior to Super Bowl LIX. The ceremony is set to take place in August in Canton, Ohio.
