The Super Bowl is returning to New Orleans for the 11th time in the next championship game, which will take place on February 9, 2025, at the Caesars Superdome. The game features a matchup between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles, with the Chiefs seeking their third consecutive Super Bowl victory.

New Orleans is tied with Miami for the most Super Bowl hosts with 11, with the majority of them being held at the Caesars Superdome, which is the 27th venue to host a Super Bowl. Miami has hosted 11 games in total, with the first one being held in 1968 at the Orange Bowl.

New Orleans’ history of hosting the Super Bowl dates back to 1970, when the Chiefs beat the Minnesota Vikings 23-7 in Super Bowl IV. The game was held at Tulane Stadium, which was the site of three more Super Bowls, including Super Bowl VI and IX. Miami has also hosted several Super Bowls, including 11 games at the Orange Bowl from 1968 to 1989, with the stadium being renamed to Hard Rock Stadium in 2016.
