A tragic incident occurred on December 2 when a father of three, 37-year-old Robert Schorovsky, was shot and killed while driving home from his job installing Christmas lights at the NASA Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas. The shooting happened around 10:30 pm along a busy interstate, with authorities responding to a vehicle crash.

Schorovsky, a family-oriented and hard worker, was pronounced dead at Ben Taub General Hospital on November 4. He left behind his wife, Brittany, and three children, aged 9, 11, and 14. His obituary described him as a loving father who enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, and going on hikes and bike rides.

The investigation is ongoing, with police still searching for witnesses and suspects. No one has come forward to claim responsibility for the shooting, and Crimestoppers is offering a $5,000 reward for any information that leads to an arrest.

Anyone with information on the case is urged to contact the HPD Homicide Division at 713-308-3600 or speak anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
