Texas boy, 12, charged with leading deputies in pursuit in stolen vehicle.

A 12-year-old boy was charged after leading deputies in a high-speed chase in a stolen vehicle in Texas. The incident occurred on Friday in the 12200 block of Antoine Drive, according to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies responded to a report of a stolen Kia Rio and located the vehicle, leading to a pursuit. The car eventually flipped, ending the chase. The suspect, identified as a 12-year-old boy, was taken into custody and processed. Due to his age, his identity was not released. He was later released to his mother. While the owner of the stolen vehicle has not filed charges, the boy was charged with evading in a motor vehicle.
