Texas A&M superfan proposes to girlfriend on ESPN’s ‘College GameDay’ before rivalry game against Texas.

Texas A&M Superfans’ Big Game, Bigger Moment: Fan Proposes on Live TV

The Texas Longhorns and the Texas A&M Aggies don’t play in their big rivalry game until 7:30 p.m. ET, but two Aggies superfans, Kyle and Erika, have already won. During ESPN’s “College GameDay” in College Station, Texas, actor Jess Sims brought them on stage to talk about the big game and their love for Texas A&M.

Erika shared why Texas A&M is special to her and her family, revealing that her mom worked there, she received two degrees, and her daughter is a future student of the university. Kyle, however, had an even bigger surprise in store. He proposed to Erika on live TV, pulling out a ring and getting down on one knee. Erika said yes, as the Texas A&M crowd erupted in cheers and confetti.

Even Nick Saban, the legendary coach, chimed in with some married advice, sharing that after 53 years of marriage, his wife’s coffee cup reads “Mr. Right” while his own says “Mrs. Never Wrong.” The proposal brought the audience to their feet, and actor Erika and her new fiancées hope the Aggies can cap off an unforgettable day with a win over their rivals and a spot in the SEC Championship game.
