Steve Bannon, a former Trump White House adviser, lashed out at Elon Musk, calling him a “truly evil guy” who must be “run out of” the MAGA movement.
Bannon, who was previously a key figure in the Trump administration, expressed his discontent with Musk’s continuous presence at Mar-a-Lago, saying he wants to “have Elon Musk run out of here by Inauguration Day.” He also accused Musk of being a “bad guy” and that he has “gone too far.”
Bannon took issue with Musk’s support for H-1B visas, which he claims “harm American workers” by bringing in cheaper labor from other countries. He also criticized Musk for his ties to apartheid South Africa, saying “Peter Thiel, David Sacks, and Elon Musk, are all White South Africans. He should go back to South Africa.”
Musk has previously come under fire for his comments on Twitter, including a post in which he called Americans “retarded.” Bannon called this a “constant reminder” of Musk’s “contempt” for the movement. He also accused Musk of wanting to implement “techno-feudalism on a global scale,” saying that he will “do anything” to make more money.
Bannon also expressed his disapproval of Musk’s ties to China, where Tesla has a large factory. He claimed that the company is “100% controlled by the Chinese Communist Party” and that Musk has a “phony” relationship with the Party.
