Pensacola Area Receives Record-Breaking Snowfall, Totaling 5.5 Inches
Despite temperatures sitting around 24 degrees, with wind chills ushering in frigid temperatures around 12 degrees, Pensacola residents haven’t wasted a moment bundling up and taking full advantage of the unprecedented snowfall. The area has already received as much as 5.5 inches of snow on Tuesday, likely breaking a 130-year-old record for total snowfall, according to the National Weather Service.
