Singapore Post appoints new CFO amid executive shake-up following whistleblower report.

Singapore Post Appoints New Group Finance Chief After Demise of Top Executives

Singapore Post has appointed Isaac Mah, the current CFO of its Australian business, as its new group finance chief, the company announced on Sunday. This move comes a week after the company dismissed three senior executives, including its former CFO, over allegations of mishandling a whistleblower report.

Mah, who has been with Singapore Post since 2019, most recently oversaw the sale of the Australian business to private equity firm Pacific Equity Partners. He will assume his new role effective immediately.

The departure of the three senior executives, including former CEO Vincent Phang and former CFO Vincent Yik, was revealed last week. They were found to be “negligent” in handling a whistleblower report related to several employees working in the company’s international e-commerce logistics parcel business.

In the meantime, Gan Heng, current head of the South district of the international business unit, will take on the role of acting CEO of the international business unit. The company has also announced that it will name a new group CEO “in due course”.
