Suspected Shooter Who Killed UnitedHealthcare CEO Spotted at Starbucks Just Blocks from the Murder Scene

The man suspected of killing UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson, 50, was spotted at a Starbucks just two blocks from the murder scene, according to a report by The U.S. Sun. Thompson was shot and killed outside the New York Hilton Midtown hotel on Wednesday morning.

The suspect, described as a light-skinned man about 6 feet tall with a slim build, was seen wearing a dark hoodie and dark pants and a gray backpack. He was also carrying a mask and was seen on an e-bike leaving the scene.

Surveillance footage showed the suspect sneaking up behind Thompson and firing multiple shots as the CEO walked into the hotel. A witness who was inches away from the shooting sprinted for her life as the suspect walked away into an alley.

The suspect was last seen heading towards Central Park, and police are still searching for him. The New York City Police Department (NYPD) has released a $10,000 reward for any information leading to the suspect’s arrest.

Thompson was the CEO of UnitedHealthcare, the largest private healthcare provider in the US, and had been in the position for 20 years. He was set to lead an investor conference at the New York Hilton Midtown hotel before he was killed.
