Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs accused of dangling woman off balcony in new lawsuit

[Sean “Diddy” Combs has been accused of sexual battery by a woman who claims that in September 2016, the music producer dangled her from a 17-story balcony as others were on site, including his former girlfriend Cassie Ventura. According to the lawsuit, Bana Bongolan, an aspiring fashion designer at the time, was subjected to “outrageous and abhorrent conduct” that violated her “fundamental dignity, bodily autonomy and sense of safety.”

The incident allegedly occurred on September 26, 2016, when Combs showed up to Ventura’s apartment and began shouting and banging on the door. Bongolan claimed that Combs then grabbed her, molested her, and lifted her up on the banister of the 17th-floor balcony, with only his grip keeping her from falling to her death. Ventura intervened, and Combs allegedly slammed Bongolan onto patio furniture.

Bongolan’s lawyers claim that Combs’ behavior is part of a “disturbing pattern of abusive behavior” and that he frequently showed up to Ventura’s apartment unannounced, banging on the door, and often threw large kitchen knives at her. The lawsuit alleges that Combs had a reputation for violent outbursts and that various people in his circle, including Ventura, were aware of his temper.

Combs’ lawyers have denied the allegations, stating that they are “baseless” and that Combs “firmly denies these serious allegations and remains confident they will ultimately be proven baseless.” Combs is currently in custody, awaiting trial on federal charges, and is faced with over 30 civil complaints, in addition to an ongoing federal investigation.
