Seahawks name Saints OC Klint Kubiak new offensive coordinator.

Kubiak Lands Second Head Coach Job with Seattle Seahawks

Kubiak will take on his third offensive coordinator role, having previously held the position in Minnesota for the 2021 season and in New Orleans this last season. He replaces Ryan Grubb, who was fired due to a difference of opinion on the team’s identity.

In 2024, Kubiak’s unit at the Saints struggled, particularly due to injuries to key players such as Derek Carr, Chris Olave, and Rashid Shaheed. This season, Kubiak will be tasked with helping the Seahawks’ offense, which finished 18th in points scored and 14th in total yards, missing the playoffs.

He will work closely with head coach Ken Macdonald to determine the direction of the Seahawks’ offense going forward.
