Walker Finishes the Regular Season with Solid Numbers, but Seattle Moves On

Ad

Rookie running back Kenneth Walker III finished the regular season with 153 rushes for 573 yards (3.8 avg.) and seven touchdowns, as well as 46 receptions for 299 yards (6.5) and one touchdown receiving in 11 starts. While his rushing totals have declined since his impressive rookie season of 2022, he did set a new personal best in receptions this year.

Walker’s departure from the lineup will be filled by the promotion of rookie running back George Holani, who was signed off the practice squad. Holani has seen limited action, carrying the ball three times for 10 yards and catching one pass for negative one yard in his three games this season.

Seattle also has other options in the backfield, including Zach Charbonnet and Kenny McIntosh. Charbonnet has accumulated 453 rush yards and eight touchdowns, with the majority coming when Walker was out of the lineup this season.
