Score Big with These Epic Super Bowl Party Tips

Plan Your Epic Super Bowl Party with These Tips

Super Bowl parties are a great way to eat, drink, and socialize with friends and family. Two event experts, Christine Lusita and Olivia Pollock, shared their expert advice on how to throw an epic Super Bowl party this year.

First and foremost, it’s essential to plan a menu that caters to all types of eaters. “Healthy options, gluten-free, vegan – and of course, traditional indulgence,” said Lusita. “This sets the tone and is especially helpful for those who do have dietary restrictions.” Offer a range of appetizers, including hot and cold options, as well as main dishes like sandwich boards or pasta or pizza.

For a stress-free and enjoyable experience, consider setting out a variety of snacks and dips that guests can munch on throughout the game. “Think sliders, wings, nachos and dips that people can snack on during every quarter of the game,” said Pollock. “Set everything out and let guests munch away during the game.”

Another key element is to consider guests’ dietary restrictions. “Plan for it,” advised Lusita. “Offer options that fit different lifestyles and make sure to label what’s what.”

When it comes to decoration, set the mood with fun, colorful decor, comfy seating, and upbeat music. “This brings the energy up right from the start,” said Lusita.

To keep guests hydrated, consider setting up a do-it-yourself drink bar with options for guests to create their own cocktails and mocktails. A cooler filled with canned drinks, water, and children’s options is also a must.

Finally, consider a sign-up sheet to have guests contribute to the party spread. “This way, guests will most likely show up with something, so a sign-up sheet is a great way to let guests choose what they want to bring and a surefire way to make sure there’s not multiple pots of chili and no dessert,” said Pollock.

By following these expert tips, you’ll be well on your way to hosting an epic Super Bowl party that your guests will remember for years to come.
