Saudi Arabia stocks closed lower on Wednesday, as losses in the banking, real estate, and transportation sectors led shares lower. The TASI index fell 0.18%.
Despite the decline, some stocks rose, including Al Baha Investment and Development Company, which jumped 8.33% to 0.52, and Red Sea Housing Services Company, which added 6.32% to 60.60. Saudi Industrial Development Company also saw a gain, increasing 5.07% to 30.05.
On the other hand, some stocks fell, with MBC Group declining 3.31%, Bawan falling 3.05%, and Savola Group dropping 2.97%. Overall, 181 stocks rose, 114 stocks fell, and 38 were unchanged.
In commodities, crude oil fell 0.09% to $70.10 a barrel, while gold futures remained unchanged at $2,633.50 a troy ounce. The euro was flat against the Saudi riyal at 3.90, while the US dollar fell 0.17% to 3.75. The US Dollar Index Futures rose 0.18% to 108.00.
