Robert Kraft’s son to run for Boston mayor.

New England Patriots Owner’s Son Reportedly Running for Boston Mayor

Josh Kraft, the son of New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft, is reportedly considering a run for mayor of Boston. According to multiple reports, an announcement is expected in the coming months. Joshua has not publicly commented on the news.

If elected, Kraft would be taking over from Michelle Wu, who won the last election in 2021 with 64.0% of the vote. He would also replace Marty Walsh, who served as mayor for two terms before Wu.

Kraft is currently the president of the team’s foundation and runs the family’s philanthropic initiatives. He has also worked at the city’s Boys & Girls Club for 30 years.

Robert Kraft acquired the Patriots in 1994 and has since led the team to six Super Bowl wins. He is known for his success in building the team into one of the greatest dynasties in sports history.

The news comes amid recent reports of a serious crime incident in Boston, where an illegal immigrant was caught using a taxpayer-funded migrant shelter for criminal activity, including storing a weapon and nearly $1 million worth of drugs.

As for Donald Trump, whom the Kraft family has supported in the past, Robert Kraft has not spoken to him since the events of January 6, 2021. Quarterback Tom Brady, a close friend of the family, has also distanced himself from Trump.
