Ravens WR Zay Flowers (knee) is doubtful to play against the Bills.

Flowers’ Game Status for Sunday May Be Determined at Kickoff

Flowers, the Ravens’ top wideout, suffered a knee injury in the regular-season finale, forcing him to miss his first game of the season in the Wild Card Round. In last Saturday’s game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, the Ravens relied on a strong ground game, which set a franchise playoff record 299 rushing yards, to secure a 28-14 win.

However, with cold weather conditions expected in Orchard Park, N.Y. on Sunday, the ground game will be crucial once again for the Ravens. The absence of Flowers, who has been Lamar Jackson’s favorite target in 2024, could pose a problem against a Buffalo defense that was stout in its wild-card win, holding the Broncos to 7 points and 224 total yards.

Rashod Bateman and Nelson Agholor, who combined for three catches for 49 yards and a touchdown last Saturday, will need to step up in Flowers’ absence. Jackson also has a dynamic tight end duo at his disposal in Mark Andrews and Isaiah Likely, who combined for seven receptions for 80 yards in the Wild Card Round. The game is scheduled to kick off at 6:30 p.m. ET on Sunday.
