Ravens’ Mark Andrews under fire for costly mistakes in playoff loss to Bills.

Baltimore Ravens Tight End Mark Andrews Learns Tough Lesson in Playoff Series-Go-Ahead Win Over Buffalo Bills

Mark Andrews, the Baltimore Ravens’ three-time Pro Bowl tight end, learned a hard lesson in the importance of every play in the playoffs after making two costly mistakes that ultimately contributed to the team’s 27-25 loss to the Buffalo Bills in the divisional round.

Andrews’ fumble in the fourth quarter led to a Bills field goal, and he dropped a two-point conversion attempt on the Ravens’ final drive, which could have tied the game. The plays had the NFL world talking, and Andrews took the brunt of the criticism.

However, Ravens head coach John Harbaugh and his teammates came to Andrews’ defense, praising his contributions to the team’s success this season. “We wouldn’t be here without Mark Andrews,” Harbaugh said. Safety Kyle Hamilton added, “For anybody to say anything about him, you have to look in the mirror.”

Andrews’ five catches for 61 yards on seven targets were a respectable showing, and he has put up impressive numbers this season with 55 receptions for 673 yards and a career-high 11 touchdowns. Despite the tough loss, Harbaugh and the Ravens remain confident in their tight end’s abilities.
