Baltimore Ravens Guaranteed Rematch with Pittsburgh Steelers or Los Angeles Chargers in Super Wild Card Weekend
The Baltimore Ravens have clinched the AFC North title with a four-game winning streak, setting up a rematch with either the Pittsburgh Steelers or the Los Angeles Chargers in the upcoming Super Wild Card Weekend. The Ravens previously beat the Chargers in Week 12 and split their season series with the Steelers, losing in Week 11 before a Week 16 victory.
Head coach John Harbaugh praised his team’s ability to stay focused and motivated, saying, “It’s awesome, it’s an awesome thing. It’s a week-to-week league, and you really just have to take it one week at a time, one day at a time, one play at a time, and our guys have done a really good job of holding on to that.”
Quarterback Lamar Jackson, who is now a four-time division title winner, expressed pride in his team’s achievement, stating, “This division is very tough. We got some of the best defensive players in the league in our division. Matching up against them twice a year. … I’m very proud of my team. We battled, and we got the job done. But the job is undone.”
With the Ravens heading into the playoffs as a 12-5 team that once stumbled to an 0-2 start, they will now face at least one guaranteed home game to kick off their Super Bowl quest.
