Ravens and Diontae Johnson mutually agree to absolve him from team activities after one-game suspension.

The Baltimore Ravens have decided not to reinstate wide receiver DJ Johnson to the team, despite his suspension ending. Johnson was suspended for one game after refusing to enter their Week 13 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. With the team’s Week 14 bye, Johnson sat out the subsequent game against the New York Giants and was expected to return this week. However, head coach John Harbaugh stated that the team will not release Johnson, citing “front office type reasons.” The Ravens are currently one game behind the Pittsburgh Steelers in the AFC North standings, and Harbaugh’s focus is on preparing for their upcoming game against Pittsburgh.
