Randy Moss: NFL legend asks for ‘prayers’ while revealing he was ‘battling something internally’

[NFL Legend Randy Moss Reveals He’s Battling an Internal Health Issue, Asks for Prayers

Former wide receiver Randy Moss, now a TV pundit, has been wearing tinted sunglasses during his television appearances this week. In a video posted on Instagram, he explained that he’s been “battling something internal” and is calling for his fans to send him “prayers.”

Moss, 47, appeared on Sunday’s edition of ESPN’s NFL Countdown, where he addressed the issue and assured fans he’s being treated by “great doctors.” He wore sunglasses during the show, despite initially sparking concern among viewers when his eyes appeared yellow last week.

Moss, a four-time First-Team All-Pro and five-time NFL receiving touchdowns leader, has hinted at his internal health issue without providing details. He jokingly referred to his sunglasses as not being “disrespectful” because he’s on television, yet “battling something.” Moss asked for viewers to send “prayers” for him and his family.

Moss’s latest health struggles come after being inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2018. With 15,292 receiving yards and 156 touchdowns to his name, he is considered one of the greatest wide receivers in NFL history. Despite his current health issues, Moss seems to be in high spirits, as he remains committed to his work as a TV analyst.
