Sen. Rand Paul “Couldn’t Be Happier” with Trump’s Cabinet Nominees

Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., expressed his enthusiasm for President-elect Trump’s Cabinet nominees, stating that he “couldn’t have picked better” and that he will work to push them through the confirmation process as quickly as possible. Paul, who will chair the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee in January, said that he will support the vast majority of Trump’s picks on day one and expects half a dozen of them to be approved in the first week.

Paul praised Trump’s selections, including Kristi Noem for Department of Homeland Security and Russ Vought for Office of Management and Budget. He noted that he will do his best to get the nominees through the confirmation process efficiently, pledging to “get them through as quickly as possible.”

Trump’s Cabinet picks have been the subject of controversy, with some selections proving to be divisive. However, Paul expressed his satisfaction with the choices, saying that he will support all of them.
