Raiders QB Gardner Minshew out for season due to broken collarbone.

The Raiders fell to the Broncos 26-19 on Sunday, with quarterback Mike Minshew leaving the game with 26-19 in favor of Denver. Minshew was 25-of-42 passing for 230 yards, one touchdown, and one interception before exiting. Desmond Ridder replaced him, but fumbled the ball away on his second snap and was later sacked to end the game’s final drive.

Minshew began the season as the Raiders’ starter, but was replaced by Aidan O’Connell in Week 6. When O’Connell suffered a fractured thumb, Minshew was reinserted as the starter, but could not turn around the team’s struggles. This marks the seventh straight loss for the Raiders.

Ridder appears poised to start in Week 13, but Aidan O’Connell is eligible to return from injured reserve this week, potentially as early as Thursday’s game against the Kansas City Chiefs.
