President-elect Trump attends historic 125th Army-Navy football game alongside key political figures.

The 125th edition of the annual Army-Navy game will take place on Saturday, with a combined total of 19 wins from both teams, the first time this has happened in the history of the rivalry. This year’s matchup is particularly significant, as the winner will have a chance to secure the Commander-In-Chief’s Trophy, which they haven’t won since 2017. Additionally, both teams have secured bowl game berths, making this year’s matchup even more crucial.

Army, who won the American Athletic Conference championship, enters the game with an 11-1 record, while Navy, who had its first winning season since 2019, comes in with an 8-3 record. President-elect Donald Trump, Vice President-elect JD Vance, and other important guests, including Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis and Defense Secretary nominee Pete Hegseth, are expected to attend the game.

Navy’s head coach Brian Newberry has described the Army program as the “most complete, well-rounded Army football team” he has seen, while Army coach Jeff Monken is focusing on the team’s performance in the game, stating, “It’s a game and a season really all of its own. We’ve had a good year. You make it a great year by winning this game coming up on Saturday. Frankly, that’s just the way it goes around here.”

The game is set to take place on Saturday at 3 p.m. ET at Northwest Stadium in Landover, Maryland, with CBS broadcasting the game. Navy leads the series 62-55-7. The game is expected to be a thrilling matchup, with both teams eager to secure the Commander-In-Chief’s Trophy and end the season on a high note.
