President Biden to Deliver Farewell Address to Nation on Wednesday Evening

President Joe Biden is set to deliver his farewell address to the nation on Wednesday evening, marking the end of his four-year term in the White House. The address is scheduled to take place at 8 p.m. ET from the Oval Office, following the publication of his farewell letter to the country earlier in the day.

In his farewell letter, Biden reflected on the challenges his administration has faced, including the COVID-19 pandemic, economic crisis, and threats to democracy. He expressed pride in the nation’s ability to come together and emerge stronger, more prosperous, and more secure.

Biden also spoke about his decision to run for president, stating that he believed the “soul of America was at stake” and that “the very nature of who we are was at stake.” He expressed his commitment to the idea of America being a nation founded on the principles of equality, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

The President is set to officially exit the Oval Office on January 20, when President-elect Trump will be sworn in as the 47th President. Biden has spent over 50 years in public office, starting with his election to the Senate in 1972 at the age of 29. He previously served as Vice President under President Barack Obama before winning the 2020 presidential election.

Biden’s farewell address is expected to be a significant moment, marking the end of his presidency and the beginning of a new chapter in American history.
