Police Release Video Showing Cybertruck Explode Outside Las Vegas Trump Hotel

Police have released a video showing a Tesla Cybertruck exploding outside the Las Vegas Trump Hotel. The incident, which occurred on October 19, 2021, left several people injured and caused a massive fire. The vehicle was heavily damaged, with debris scattered across the parking lot.

In a statement, the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) announced that the explosion occurred when the driver, identified as 52-year-old Wayde R., experienced a tire blowout due to a faulty tire valve stem, causing the vehicle to roll over and explode.

The video shows the moment the Cybertruck’s tire blows out, followed by a loud explosion as the vehicle bursts into flames. The footage also captures the chaos and panic that ensued, with people rushing to help the injured and put out the fire.

The incident marked the second high-profile incident involving a Tesla vehicle in recent months, following the fatal crash of a Tesla Model S in Texas in May, which led to a recall of millions of vehicles over a faulty Autopilot feature. The firm has yet to comment on the Las Vegas incident.
