Pistons’ Jaden Ivey suffers severe leg injury, stretchered off court against Magic.

Jaden Ivey Sustains Serious Leg Injury in Detroit Pistons’ Win Over Orlando Magic

Jaden Ivey sustained what appeared to be a serious leg injury after scoring 22 points in the Detroit Pistons’ 105-96 victory over the Orlando Magic on Wednesday night. The incident occurred with 10:07 to play in the fourth quarter, when Ivey and Orlando’s Cole Anthony were going for a loose ball. Anthony slipped and fell, carrying his momentum into Ivey’s planted leg, causing Ivey to fall to the floor in obvious agony.

The 22-year-old immediately grabbed his left shin, and Detroit’s medical staff quickly attended to him. Ivey’s teammates and opponents formed a huddle around him, as the crowd’s view of the injury was obstructed by medical staff holding up towels. After a lengthy delay, Ivey was loaded onto a stretcher and wheeled out of the arena with a towel covering the injury.

Players from both teams consoled Ivey and Anthony, who was visibly shaken by the play. The extent of Ivey’s injury is not yet known, but the severity of the incident has left fans and observers concerned for his well-being.
